📰 THIS WEEK’S BIGGEST DJ HEADLINES
1. The OneLibrary Revolution (and the CDJ-3000 Problem)
This week, the DJ world buzzed about the new OneLibrary format, a unified library system designed to sync across multiple ecosystems — Rekordbox, Traktor, Algoriddim djay, and more. Creators are calling it a “game-changing step toward freeing DJs from locked-in platforms.”
But the rollout hit turbulence.
The CDJ-3000 firmware supporting OneLibrary (v3.30) was abruptly pulled after DJs reported corrupted playlists and disappearing USB content. AlphaTheta advised all DJs to downgrade back to firmware 3.20 and avoid exporting using the buggy version.
Takeaway for DJs:The future is bright — seamless cross-platform libraries — but don’t update before gigs. Back up your export sticks and wait until manufacturers stabilize their formats.
2. DJ Software Updates: Rekordbox, djay Pro, and VirtualDJ
A flood of updates arrived:
Rekordbox 7.2.7Â released with cloud improvements, stems optimizations, and Apple Music fixes.
Algoriddim djay Pro 5.5.1/5.5.2Â received OneLibrary and controller tweaks (especially REV7 and FLX-10).
VirtualDJ 2025Â introduced StemSwap, a wild new feature that lets DJs swap stems live for instant mashups.
Takeaway:2025 is becoming the year of stems creativity and library flexibility. Software companies are competing again — great for DJs.
3. Music Pools: What's Trending Across Beatsource, DJcity & BPM Supreme

Beatsource dropped its “Week of Nov 28” crate with new open-format heaters + DJ edits.
